There are 2 standard options to set up a limited liability company (AB) in Sweden: to incorporate a new company or to buy a shelf company (recommended). We consult about the best option according to your project specifics. Remote service without travel is available with both options.

We take care of all documentation and manage the entire process. There is no need to travel to Sweden or to transfer share capital payment. We collect all necessary information from you which in most cases includes preferred company name, passport copy and contact details. Thereafter we take care of the rest!

Your company average setup time is 10-15 business days. You only have to visit a public notary in your home country to have your signature verified and return the documents to our office by post. Alternatively, we can schedule a meeting in our Stockholm office.

If you require a VAT registration we can take care of the application and establish rights for our local accountant to take care of your tax returns. ABOUT SWEDEN: OVERVIEW AND MAIN REQUIREMENTS

Corporate structure

There is no limitation for the company shareholder residency nor a requirement for local resident board member (director). However, there is a requirement for the management board member to hold EU/EEA residency.

Company setup in 10-15 days

Your Swedish company or branch will be set up in approx. 10-15 business days (subject to registry processing time) after we have received the signed documentation. Additional processing time may apply for non-EU residents applications. We can offer full remote service with no travel.

Virtual registered office

A local registered company office address in Sweden is required. We can provide a virtual office service with postage collection and forwarding to your e-mail. Further options include local telephone and fax numbers. There is no requirement for a physical office.

Share capital payment

For our new tailor-made incorporations and shelf companies we have previously registered the company share capital in the required amount of SEK 25.000 (approx. € 2100), hence no separate transfers are required in the setup phase.

Banking in Sweden

We work with several major Swedish banks such as Swedbank to ensure the most time efficient opening of a business bank account for your company in Sweden. As an alternative, we can also assist to set up with a fin-tech bank online.

Certified accounting&payroll
